Over a year ago, that's when I started this blog. And over a year ago I posted my last entry.
Being raised by boys has meant many starts and stops. So many times I want to put on paper my thoughts, emotions, dreams, and hopes for the future. As if by putting it in print I am one step closer to making them reality.
Today is another new beginning. A reaffirmation of the opportunities and possibilities waiting to be embraced and experienced. No promises of tomorrow, just today's new beginning. This weeks road is all about preparation for Colorado and I will embrace what I can accomplish today. I will complete what I can, I will not worry over what waits for tomorrow. This moment, it is all I am assured of. So as I begin my mental list I find joy in what boxes are already checked off.
Hotel, check. Rental car, check. Not so subtle hints to the two teenagers in the house about behavioral expectations, check.
